NON-BINDING AND FREE ESTIMATES

The Döbritz art and auction house will be happy to appraise your art. During our opening hours, you can make an appointment by telephone for a verbal appraisal and come by with your object. Please make an appointment in advance so that you can meet the expert in person and avoid any waiting times. This service is non-binding and free of charge. For larger properties, you are also welcome to send us photos with details of the dimensions and condition. This information makes it easier for our experts to determine a current market value. In the case of a larger number of items or estates, we will be happy to visit you at your home on request. The information will of course be treated in strict confidence.

COMMISSION

As an agent, we take your artworks on commission. A contractual limit price is set, which will not be undercut. Of course we try to realise as much as possible for you in auctions.

PROVISION

A commission of 16% will be charged on the hammer price upon sale. VAT is included in this fee. If the property is not sold, there are no costs for processing, insurance or illustration. The conditions of sale are set out in the contract.

INSURANCE

The consigned items are insured to the limit at the auction house's expense.

ACCOUNTING

The invoice will be issued within 4 weeks of the sale, subject to receipt of payment from the buyer.
